Here is more info about some of Scott's speeches in the past: Scott Beale has given over 100 speeches about youth activism, generational politics, and/or youth social entrepreneurship. Ongoing: Local High Schools: Scott is willing to speak at high schools within a 45 minute radius of Newark, Delaware for free and will travel further distances if schools agree to buy a certain number of books. If you go to school in the Mid Atlantic area and want to hear a speech that will motivate your students, educate your teachers and inspire a classroom, then contact Scott to make the arrangements. National Young Leaders Conference (Washington, DC) Scott has given over 25 speeches to NYLC over the last four years. Occassionally a keynote, Scott also does a workshop on the 10 Steps To Youth Activsim. Close Up (Washington, DC): Scott has given over 20 speeches to the Close Up organization over the last three years. Often the keynote for these students, he will also participate in partisan debates. Generally these audiences include between 100-200 high school students from across the country. January 2004: New Hampshire Primarys: Scott will be travelling to New Hampshire for the Primary with 15 of his friends. If you want to join this trip, or meet up with Scott in New Hampshire, then contact him. He will also be at book stores in New Hampshire talking about how young people will be shaping this election. December 2003: St. Louis, Missouri: Scott will be in St. Louis near the end of the month doing book signing and selling last minute holiday presents. Buy your copy of Millennial Manifesto for the teenager in your life. Open them up to a larger world and a community committed to getting involved and making the youth voice heard. November 2003: Miami, Florida: Scott will be in Miami, Florida around Thanksgiving and is planning on book signings at book stores in and around South Beach. October 2003: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi: Scott will be briefing Minority Leader Pelosi and 15 other Congresspeople in a private session about how Democrats can engage this generation and win in 2004 by reaching out to the youth vote. Los Vegas, Nevada: Scott spoke at UNLV about activism and the generation at a book signing.. September 2003: U.S. Capitol: Scott testified in Congress on behalf of the SAVE AmeriCorps coalition. He presented the generational perspective to EXPAND not CONTRACT AmeriCorps.. August 2003: 2020 Democrats: Scott attend the 2020 Democrats Conference in Washington, DC on August 1, 2003. Advance copies of Millennial Manifesto will be available at this conference. Arsalyn Regional Conference in Washington, DC: Scott spoke at the Arsalyn Conference on Voting and Service in Washington, DC on August 2, 2003. Everyone who attended this conference received a copy of the book and learned the 12 Steps to Youth Activism.. February 2002: AmeriCorps: Scott spoke at an AmeriCorps conference over President's Day weekend 2002 in Washington. Arsalyn Conference on Civic Engagement, Los Angeles, CA: Scott is traveled to Los Angeles, California to speak to high school students at the Arsalyn Conference on Feb 8-10, 2002. December 2001: International Hillel Summit (Princeton Univerity): Scott spoke to the JCSC Supervisors in Princeton, NJ in December, 2001. Nearly 300 people attended this speech about the activism of the generation. September 2001: Washington University (St. Louis, MO): Scott traveled to St. Louis, MO on September 30, 2001 to speak at Washington University in St. Louis. See this page for more info. August 2001: United Leaders (Harvard University): Scott traveled to Boston, MA August 8-11, 2001. He attended the United Leaders Board meeting where he is now a part of the Leadership Circle. Scott spoke about the United Leaders / Millennial Politics partnership and told people more about the book. May 2001: Villanova University On May 29th, 2001, Scott spoke to students from Villanova University who were studing in Washington, DC about the politics of the Millennial Generation. United Leaders: On May 21st, Scott attended the United Leaders Youth Political Participation Project at the Institute of Politics at Harvard. It was a round table discussion of 25 young political leaders about youth politics. September 2001: The White House: In the fall of 2000 Scott spoke to the White House interns. It was an open event that went very well. The speech will focus on the differences between Generation X and Millennials and also examined the civic and political attitudes of the generation. October 1999: U.V.A.: On October 5, 1999 Scott spoke at the University of Virginia. It was an open event that went very well. March 1999: Georgetown University: Sponsored by the Georgetown University John Carroll Scholars program, Scott spoke at Georgetown in March, 1999 on the Millennial Generation and activism as a part of their "millennium project" series of events. September 1999: West Nontingham Academy: Sponsored by Vince Watchorn, Scott spoke to a group of students from this boarding school near Baltimore about the characteristics of Millennials and how they are different than Generation Xers. August 1999: The Congressional Youth Leadership Forum: Twice Scott spoke to 350 high school students from across the country who were with the Congressional Youth Leadership Council. The topic was the Millennial Generation and voting.

Hill Tuesday, July 27, 1999 at 6:30 P.M. in the Capitol.
This speech was open to everyone and a lot of offices were represented. The
