MISSION HISTORY CHARITIES PARTIES WHO ARE WE?

HISTORY

The 2100 Fund ("twenty-one hundred fund") unofficially started in January 2000. Approximately 100 young adults living in DC, who were all about twenty-one years-old, came together to raise money for charity. Everyone donated at least $10 and over $1,000 was raised for a local health care center. In 2001, the event grew and over 250 people supported the cause and the cover charge was increased -- people attending the party were required to "pay-their-age" to get in to the party. With that successful party, over $6,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society.

Saturday, January 26, 2002 was the third party for this group, but the first official party of the 2100 Fund. On this night, at Bohemian Caverns in Washington, DC, approximately 400 people partied the night away and raised $7,000 profit.

FUTURE

The 2100 Fund is aggressively seeking out Ambassadors to franchise the organization to other cities. If you are interested in organizing similar parties outside of Washington, DC, please contact us at info@2100fund.org.
